The Circle of Orange

My mother and I went to the circle of orange, in Orange, on Saturday. We stopped at the Blue Frog cafe for a bite to eat and then went antique window shopping. There were some amazing items in the shops, some of which I got pictures of. Below are the pictures from the day.

This baby was very creepy!

I would get these for my sister Kellen if she were getting married anytime soon. So cute, Bridal Flamingos.

Thanks for Looking!

"Wedding Shower" Week 13

My dear friend Sarah Cercone is getting married in July. I took the opportunity at her wedding shower to take more pictures of people. I am trying to expand my range from macro. I think for this week I have a good balance between macro/details and people. Let me know what you think!

Beautiful ladies!
Hope you enjoyed these photos! Thanks for looking :)

"Spring"

Week 12 was filled with so many fun shots that I just had to post them all. Spring in my mind is filled with bugs and colorful flowers and that is what inspired my shots. Luckily in my backyard there can be found a plethora of plants, and therefore, bugs!
Other than adding a watermark there were no touch ups done to this photo. This flower was so bright I just had to post it in its original form.

I chased this butterfly around campus waiting for it to land. I was fortunate to catch its landing, which lasted for about 5 seconds. And yes, people looked at me as if I were very strange.

I have NO idea what kind of bug this is. To be honest, it grossed me out, ICK!

Even though the southern California weather has been a little cool for spring, hopefully these images will have instilled warmth and spring emotions! Since Macro work tends to be my favorite I am sure you will be seeing more flowers and bugs from me in the future. Hope you enjoyed this installment.

Thanks for looking!!! :)

"Underneath"

The theme for week 11 of my 52 week project was "underneath." The goal was creativity. Cats, of course, were good inspiration. I also tried to catch the everyday underneaths that occur, but are often missed. Not every picture turned out but the following were my favorite ones.
Plato was caught under the covers. He loves to play under there. I am so glad I was able to catch his mischievous eyes.

There is a cat in this picture somewhere...can you find him???

At the library during spring break writing my thesis. Any other week and these chairs would have been filled with bodies.

Merry taking a shaded nap on a random 80 degree day.

What would Orange County be like without Orange trees? Fortunately there are still a few in the county so we can know where we are :)
Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction towards catching up on my posts. Thanks for looking!!!

San Diego Sights

Over the weekend Alan officially graduated from SDSU!!!! While there I took the opportunity for pictures...Here are some of the ones I found most interesting, and none of the actual graduation. We stayed at a hotel that had some strange looking ducks and parrots. Enjoy :)
